June 20th: Movies in the Park presents The Princess and the Frog at Conover Park. June 30th: Join us at our June 30 Cookie Decorating Social and General Meeting on the 3rd Floor of Conover Station at 6pm to find out about all the opportunities coming in 26/27 FY. We will also hold elections for our Board of Directors for the upcoming fiscal year. If you have been involved as an event planner or volunteer during the past year, we encourage you to attend and participate in the voting process. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please fill out and return the nomination form (for yourself or another nominee) listed on our Board of Directors page and return it via email by June 29. 

 

July 11th: Lyle Creek Cleanup, Herman Sipe Road Bridge. More details to come but mark your calendar.

 

July 14th: Swing Dance Lessons @ Conover Station! Come socialize, meet new people, and have fun learning to swing dance!

July 21st:  AI Insights Roundtable at Conover Station, 6pm, 3rd Floor. Come prepared to talk about AI and learn how it can be helpful to you and your business.

 

August 22nd: Conover Cruz'n for a Cause at Conover Park 10-3 followed by Movies in the Park 8pm. We are still seeking partners for both of these events to ensure they successfully offer excitement to our city while raising much-needed funds for Children's Advocacy & Protection Center. September TBD: Meet the Owner: Roc N Oven at Roc N Oven Conover. Come spend the morning hearing from Kevin, the owner, about how he turned his passion into a career and successful business then stay for lunch with new friends and faces.

October 3: Conover's Bootiful Bash. This annual event is a fun fall-themed celebration of community with carnival games and prizes, costume contests, and good old fashioned family fun! Planning Committee now recruiting members! Join the email mailing list to hear more details as they're available.

November 10: Honor + Hear, a night honoring and hearing from our local veterans. If you are a local veteran or spouse who is willing to share parts of your story in an intimate setting please reach out. We'd love to hear your story and honor you for your service. More details to come.

November 21: Christmas Comes to Conover in Conover. This annual event brings the community together for large variety of shopping opportunities and family fun! In addition to our amazing downtown businesses, vendors from our local community will come showcase their crafts with unique gift ideas. CCP will also have Santa's Workshop setup for pictures thanks to our partnership with the Masonic Lodge. A kids zone and food truck area makes this event fun for the whole family.

November TBD: Taxes for Businesses Round Table with Brad @ Conover Station. A local CPA has offered to come answer your questions about small business taxes and give some tips on how to best prepare for the year ahead and account for the work you've done. Come ready to learn!

December TBD: Create a yearlong calendar! Whether your social life is too busy, you need some help planning your business' events for the year, or just looking for tips to stay committed to you vision, this session will leave you inspired for the year ahead!

January TBD: Websites/Digital Platforms Round Table @ Conover Station. This Round Table discussion will focus on the different choices for websites and digital platforms for online commerce. Come prepared to share what has worked well for you in your business and what could use some improving! You'll gain so much wisdom from shared experiences!

*Each event has a planning committee which hosts its own meetings focused on that specific event. Planning meetings are announced on our Facebook page. We encourage anyone in the community to be an active partner with us! There is no membership fees but every donation is tax deductible and allows us to continue fulfilling our mission to creatively engage with the community.
