Conover Community Partners (CCP) seeks to make a lasting impact on Conover, it's businesses, organizations, and community members. Events and projects are led by Conover Community Partners based on their own wisdom, experience, network, and passion.

CCP exists to offer the opportunity to plan and execute events that bring life, fun, safety, and success to our community. CCP seeks to be a partner to community members, businesses, and other non-profit organizations. The primary role of the CCP board of directors is to provide governance, oversight, and strategic guidance to the organization, ensuring it is being run in the best interests of its partners to accomplish the mission. Event and Project Chairs serve as the champion to bring an idea to life.

A group of citizens has dedicated time each month to cleaning Lyle Creek of natural and unnatural debris to encourage waterflow, lowering the risk of flooding! Volunteers and donors can make a huge impact for our community!

Bi-Monthly Socials

Every other month (February, April, June, August, October, December) throughout the year CCP plans a fun get-together at a local business! Come meet new people and support a local business.

Currently Fundraising for WNC Relief

As an organization we have been raising funds earmarked for verified 501c3 nonprofits aiding in the rebuilding of Western North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Success Stories

Conover Community Partners has successfully hosted many events in it's time as a non-profit organization, and even before forming as a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit organization in 2023. Here are a few of our success stories 2022-current. We've been so privileged to work alongside the most generous businesses and amazing volunteers to bring imagination to life for citizens and visitors of Conover.

Downtown Conover Days are shopping events attracting visitors to shop local with fun giveaways, food trucks, games, and a photobooth.

Local stores are invited to participate and advertise their own sales, promos, and giveaways to bring new faces into their stores. CCP provides marketing and organizes fun activities to attract visitors!

These are led by local merchants.

Boo-tiful Downtown Bash celebrated foot traffic of approximately 3,000 visitors to downtown Conover in '23 and '24 with food trucks, trick or treating, performers, characters, and giveaways with a costume contest!

This is a large scale event that takes months to plan and is only possible because of generous sponsors and volunteers as well as the generosity of the shops offering trick or treating!

Christmas Comes to Conover is a shopping event like no other! In collaboration with the Conover Farmer's Market this one-day event combined live entertainment, shopping in a vendor market and the downtown shops, food trucks, characters, a kids zone, a wagon ride around the park, and a photo area with Santa and crafts. This event hosted over 100 vendors and welcomed over 3,000 visitors in '23 and '24.

Another great showcase of collaboration of businesses.

Festival of Trees is a free display within Conover Station. Businesses and local citizen groups are invited to setup a tree for a cause or just for fun! These trees create a beautiful a free display for the community and further attract citizens to the park and library of Conover. This event boasts some beautiful trees showcasing the real artistry of locals. This event attracted countless visitors to Conover Station in '22, '23, and '24. In '24 the festival accompanied Santa is Coming to Town, a collaboration of local businesses.

On May 3 CCP hosted the Third Annual

Conover Cruz'n for a Cause

Conover Cruz'n for a Cause is an annual car Show featuring a HUGE and diverse arrangement of cars and entertainment for the whole family, free to the public. Show cars donate toward a non-profit partner. This year's partner is Children's Advocacy & Protection Center. Since 2022, the Cruz'n has raised over $16,000 for veterans and services for children who have or are experiencing abuse and neglect. Keep an eye out for information for 2026.
